xaturen: Bersopan Sesama Pengguna Jalan Raya.

Setiap kali kita memasuki jalan besar atau jalan raya, kita terdedah dengan berbagai gelagat atau perangai pemandu dijalan tersebut.

Hal ini sudah semacam satu pekara biasa, atau stuasi biasa yang akan kita lalui.
Berbeza ketika kita memandu dijalan kecil atau jalan kampung, setiap pemandu masih lagi mengekalkan sifat-sifat yang baik serta bersopan santun.

Tapi keadaan bertukar bila kita berada dijalan raya, walaupun tidak semua pemandu yang sengal.. namun kebanyakan berubah watak menjadi sombong bila memandu.

Antara sikap tersebut adalah:

Suka belumba-lumba sesama pengguna lain.
Suka memandu seperti kura-kura tanpa sebab.
Suka keluar kesimpang tanpa memberi lampu isyarat.
Memasuki jalan besar walaupun jarak terlalu hampir sehingga memeranjatkan pengguna lain.
Sesama memandu seperti bermusuhan, dengan tidak memberi keutamaan kepada pengguna lain.
Membunyikan hon yang kasar ketika dilampu isyarat, kerana tidak sabar menunggu.
Memandu sambil memegang talipon bimbit, ber-sms dan sebagainya.

Bagi waktu malam kita akan temui pemandu:

Memasang lampu rendah tetapi masih tinggi sehingga menganggu pengelihatan pengguna hadapan.
Memasang lampu biru seperti lampu kenderaan pasukan keselamatan, sehingga pemandu lain keliru dengan memberi laluan kepada mereka.
Memasang banyak lampu sehingga menyilaukan pandagan pengguna lain.

Kita sesama pengguna sepatutnya bersopan sesama kita ketika memandu, baru hidup bertambah ceria... apa guna berkereta besar kalau bersikap sombong kan..??

Car light that are a denger.

I DRIVE along the KL-Seremban Hightway from Kajang to my workplace in Kuala Lumpur every morning.

I leave my house by 6.30am to avoid the massive traffic jams which start a little later.

Thanks to the Malaysian Highway Authority, there are light all along the roads as it still a little dark at this early hours.

Yes, I manage to avoid the massive delay, but I cannot escape the car light.

Many car owners switch on all their lights. There are some four to six lights at the front of the car and all are switched on.

A driver looking throught the rear view mirror before overtaking or changing lanes, is blinded for a few seconds by the massive lights from vehicles behind.

Some of the lights are not the usual yellow but the white (or silver) ones which are very blinding. This excerssive lights cause a driver to take a few seconds to regain proper focos.

I do not see any reason why car owners need to switch on all their lights as the roads are well it.

I am sure that by just switching on the two headlights at normal beam would suffice for their vision as well as for the sefety of other drivers.

These driver do not realise that by switching on so many lights, it not only reduces their battery life, but is also a manace to other road user. They are a contributory factor to road accidents.

I urge the authorties to take necessary action against all road users who switch on massive and fancy lights, to help prevent accidents.
